Virtual Isolation for Unparalleled Security

The infrastructure of EMA Cloud is designed so that each customer instance is fully virtualised and strictly separated from others. This means your data is stored and processed in its own shielded environment, completely isolated from other customers' data. This segregation not only prevents third-party access but also offers additional protection against potential security risks. Both each instance of EMA in EMA Cloud and its associated data storage have individual encryption. This ensures your data is protected at all times – whether it's being transferred or at rest.

Strictly Regulated Data Access

Access to your data is subject to both technical and organisational restrictions. Only authorised personnel may access your data under strictly controlled and logged conditions – and this is exclusively for maintenance purposes. This occurs via secure remote maintenance in EMA, which must be explicitly approved by a customer-side administrator. Every access is recorded in the secure EMA Log, ensuring complete traceability. Unauthorised access by ARTEC or subcontractors is technically impossible. This way, your data remains protected even during necessary maintenance work.

Encryption: The Cornerstone of Our Security Strategy

To offer you the best possible performance and security, we collaborate with leading infrastructure providers. Through consistent encryption of your data, even these providers have no insight into your stored information. This also applies when you use the ARTEC Cloud Connector for Microsoft 365: all transmissions – whether from Exchange Online to the Cloud Connector or from the Cloud Connector to EMA – are end-to-end encrypted. This ensures that your data cannot be intercepted or viewed during transmission.
