New Outlook Add-In for EMA Released
Access all archived corporate data directly from Outlook
11 July 2025 – ARTEC IT Solutions, specialists in archiving, data management and data security, has strengthened the integration between its EMA archive system and Microsoft 365. A new, enhanced Outlook Add-In is now available. The extension enables users to search not just emails but access all corporate data in their EMA archive directly from within their familiar Outlook environment. Existing folder structures can also be displayed on demand, simplifying the handling of unstructured data.
The new Outlook Add-In now supports forwarding, restoring and downloading emails, as well as attribute management. Users no longer need to open the EMA web interface for these actions. This enables even simpler, faster and more intuitive workflows without switching between different applications and interfaces. For the first time, the new extension supports both classic Outlook and the latest Outlook version. The Add-In also works across platforms in the Outlook browser version and Outlook for Mac.
With an optimised design and adapted layout, the new Add-In integrates into Outlook's vertical sidebar. The extension can remain open permanently during work and is available at all times. Installation is straightforward via the Outlook App Store.
