New Features for the Mobile Archive
Single Sign-on via Microsoft 365 and Enhanced Search Options for Increased Efficiency in Mobile Access to Company Data
Karben, 31.07.2024 – ARTEC IT Solutions, a specialist in data management and security, has updated the EMA App. As a mobile live archive, the app, available for iOS and Android, provides secure access to all essential business information from mobile devices. For instance, EMA archived emails, documents, voice files, or scanned records are always available on smartphones or tablets, even on the go.
With the new release, the EMA App is now even better aligned for seamless, comfortable operation within Microsoft 365 infrastructures. It supports direct Single Sign-On via Microsoft 365, allowing users to log in to the app with their familiar Microsoft 365 work account. Conditional Access Policies can additionally secure access. Furthermore, the ability to quickly and easily block access to the app in case of loss or theft of the device provides additional protection.
Key features of the EMA App include its powerful search function, well-known from the desktop version, which enables users to find desired information within seconds, even in extensive corporate data. For even more efficient working, the search results within the app can now be sorted more clearly and effectively, for example, emails by date or subject. Users have the option to toggle the display order between "ascending" and "descending." This enhancement makes the search function even more user-friendly on mobile devices, supporting quick and easy access to needed information.

The EMA App is available for free to EMA customers and can be downloaded from the respective app stores. Updates from the App Store occur automatically.
