5/3/2013: Global Search in Berlin
ARTEC IT Solutions at the Day of Innovation of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy
Karben, May 3, 2013 - ARTEC IT Solutions AG, a leading supplier of solutions for digital information management and archiving, will be present as an exhibitor at the 20th Day of Innovation at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in Berlin on May 16, 2013.
Focus will be placed on distributed search through data in global and local environments. ARTEC's unique distributed search technology was developed as part of a project that was subsidized by the federal ministry. In an age of "BIG DATA," it offers the possibility to manage large, unstructured data sets of data in an easy and efficient manner, and makes information available to users with the click of a button.
The main challenge that "BIG DATA" poses to many businesses and organizations is the ever-increasing amount of data, which is making it increasingly difficult to find and use the potential hidden within it.
With the VSTOR® product family, ARTEC's product portfolio comprises a custom-developed solution that was carefully designed to manage large and very large amounts of information efficiently. It provides decentralized access to data without requiring any sort of complex synchronization. This has advantages in terms of data security (data transfers are essentially eliminated), and from a fiscal point of view. While all information is made available globally, it remains stored locally; within a country's borders. "We are very pleased to participate at the Day of Innovation as part of our collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy," said Jerry J. Artishdad, CEO of ARTEC IT Solutions AG. "This partnership is very important to us. On one hand, the event gives us the opportunity to present our development in the form of innovative solutions, and on the other hand, we are able to form contacts with partners and prospective customers from all economic sectors."
The 20th Day of Innovation will be held on the open-air premises of AiF Projekt GmbH in Berlin, Germany. More than 300 participating companies and institutions will offer visitors an informative program comprising of lectures, company exhibitions, and moderated presentations. Federal Minister Dr. Philipp Rösler will hold the opening speech.
