- Central Location and Technological Growth Promote Decision for South Korean Venue
Delighted with ARTEC branch in South Korea:
Karben near Frankfurt am Main/Germany, November 11, 2009. The German business continuity specialist ARTEC continues its international expansion and is now represented in Asia. Out of Seoul, ARTEC will attend to the Asia-Pacific region which plays an important role in the overall market development strategy of the company. To gain additional market share for the EMA® Archive Appliance in Asia and better support existing installations has obviously top priority. The decision for South Korea is based on the central location within the target region and the unmistakable technological progress of the country. Apart from the site in Seoul and the headquarters in Karben near Frankfurt am Main, ARTEC prepares to open yet another branch in the United States.
Compliant long-time archiving of e-mails and documents is a global issue. This fact is reflected in the current global expansion of ARTEC. The EMA® Archive Appliance provides users with a cost-efficient and economically sensible opportunity to do so.
A study by provet, a scientific research and consultancy unit at the University of Kassel, praises the EMA® Appliance for its applied data protection and security measures. Supervised by the renowned data privacy expert Professor Dr. Alexander Rossnagel, who holds a chair for public law at the University of Kassel/ Germany, the study concludes that the archive appliance is better than today’s average practice in that regard.
"This expansion is the next logical step for us. Because with EMA® we supply a smart approach for long-time archiving which easily convinces even international prospects", explains Jerry Artishdad, Managing Director at ARTEC IT. "However, we can not only display our unique selling propositions transparently, but also demonstrate our vision of how we are going to develop our solution further: In the future, we plan to give EMA® users the possibility to archive all documents and the entire communication generated in their organization so that it is legally compliant and economically sensible."
