12/2/2020: BSI Warns: New Attacks on the Home Office
In many companies and organisations, home office is currently the order of the day again. Unfortunately, however, this - much like in the spring - also calls hackers increasingly on the scene. This is because home office and remote workplaces, which are often inadequately secured, appear to cybercriminals as worthwhile targets for attack.
How real this danger is is shown by new research pointed out by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). For example, attacks on home offices in the DACH region have increased fivefold since March, according to an IT security specialist. This is a huge increase - and a threat to which it is essential to respond. After all, preventive measures and monitoring alone are not always enough. Therefore, do not leave your sensitive data to chance.
We would be happy to discuss with you how you can cleverly implement the topics of data security and data management in your company with EMA® Cyber-Defense: in times that require us to work from home, but also far beyond them.
