5/5/2014: ARTEC to Participate at Day of Innovation at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy
On May 22, 2014, ARTEC IT Solutions will be present at booth C10a as part of the Day of Innovation held by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy. This will be the 21st time the event is held in Berlin, Germany. Representatives from politics, science, and various industries, as well as a number of innovative companies, research institutions, and corporate networks are expected to attend as exhibitors.
ARTEC will demonstrate several technologies that were funded by the BMWi and are now being used in the VSTOR® product family, which provides an answer to today's big data challenges. VSTOR is a solution for digital information management in organizations. It is used by several well-known reference customers, including DB Schenker, LG Display, and many others. VSTOR provides enormous productivity gains in many local and global environments, because provides economically efficient research capabilities that drastically lower the amount of effort required for searching and finding information. Studies have shown that employees spend around 60 minutes a day looking for information. VSTOR can reduce this time by one half.
Another advantage of VSTOR is the solution's open-ended scalability. The "eDiscovery" federated search engine allows multiple VSTOR systems in a network to be connected to each other. One reference customer used VSTOR to implement a fully functional and high-performance solution. Once set up, around 65,000 users gained instant access to all relevant information created within the organization.
As in previous years, the 21st Day of Innovation will be an "exhibition in the open" held on the open-air premises of AiF Projekt GmbH in Germany. Iris Gleicke, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy, is expected to hold the opening speech.
