Easy data migration without downtime

Mail server migration: flexible and during operation

E-mails are still indispensable for most companies and organizations and form an important pillar of communication. In the course of optimizing IT infrastructures, a mail server migration may become necessary for a variety of reasons:

  • Switch to other platforms e.g. after cost increase due to expensive license models or due to performance problems
  • Unification of the e-mail infrastructure
  • Implementation of new functions and versions

On the part of IT, the topic of migration is often associated with a great deal of effort and complications - but this does not have to be the case! EMA® supports you with the mail server migration in a clever way and enables an easy and efficient changeover. Especially in the Lotus Notes environment, our customers benefit from the advantages of EMA migration.

Lotus Notes: Finally out of the license trap

When switching from Lotus Notes to a new mail system, you no longer have to worry about your legacy assets. All active e-mail accounts, and also those that have since been deactivated, are stored securely in EMA and are available at any time at the touch of a button.

The special feature here is that instead of having to factor in downtime, the migration can be carried out directly and without interruption in live operation with the help of EMA. EMA works as a live archive in which incoming and outgoing e-mails are immediately and automatically stored securely. Legacy assets are imported from Lotus Notes in the background and are immediately available at the push of a button when needed. This creates lean systems with maximum availability and compliance security.

But whether Lotus Notes, Tobit, GroupWise or Outlook - EMA can not only be used independently of the system used, but can also be implemented in a supportive manner at any stage of the project.
