A few years ago, however, the company hit a roadblock with their email infrastructure.

Initially deployed as an on-premise solution, EMA runs continuously in the background, automatically handling legally compliant and audit-proof archiving of all incoming and outgoing emails. A powerful full-text search makes finding archived content a breeze. Employees access their EMA archive through a simple desktop link.

Future-Ready for Cloud Migration

Sauer Compressors is currently preparing to migrate various systems to the cloud, including transitioning their mail server to Microsoft Exchange Online. EMA is integral to this migration plan, which will make archive access even more convenient for users. The EMA Outlook Add-In will eliminate the need to access archives through a separate desktop link. To create an even more intuitive experience, the EMA full-text search will put all archived emails right at users' fingertips within their familiar Outlook environment.
