Virtual Compartmentalization for Maximum Security
The EMA Cloud infrastructure is designed so that each customer instance is fully virtualized and strictly separated from other instances. Your data is stored and processed in its own protected environment, isolated from the data of other customers. This isolation prevents access by third parties and provides additional protection against potential security risks. Each instance of EMA in EMA Cloud and each associated data store has its own individual encryption, ensuring your data is protected at all times—whether while being transferred or at rest.
Strictly Regulated Data Access
Access to your data is subject to both technical and organizational restrictions. Only authorized personnel can access your data under strictly controlled and logged conditions, and only for maintenance purposes. This is done via secure remote maintenance in EMA, which must be explicitly authorized by an administrator on the customer side. Every access is recorded in the secure EMA log, ensuring complete traceability. Unauthorized access by ARTEC or subcontractors is technically impossible, ensuring your data remains protected even during necessary maintenance work.
Encryption at the Core of Our Security Strategy
To provide you with the best possible performance and security, we work with leading infrastructure providers. Thanks to the consistent encryption of your data, even these providers have no access into your stored information. This also applies when you use the ARTEC Cloud Connector for Microsoft 365: All transmissions—whether from Exchange Online to the Cloud Connector or from the Cloud Connector to EMA—are end-to-end encrypted. This ensures that your data cannot be intercepted or viewed during transmission.
